Bridging the gap – Current traffic count data
Annual average daily traffic (AADT) is widely accepted to be the most accurate representation of traffic data available. Governments and other transportation departments collect and publish AADT figures on an annual basis. Usually published retrospectively, they reflect the actual traffic figures from the previous year.
Recently, due to the costs associated with collecting data, cutbacks have been taking place and we’ve seen the frequency and coverage of published traffic counts produced by federal entities decline.
In order to bring the most up to date data to clients and provide dependable current traffic counts, Kalibrate provides current year estimates with it’s TrafficMetrix® dataset.
Kalibrate has been developing complex, sophisticated volume forecasting models for more than 25 years. Using years of historical traffic count data to inform the modelling tools, factoring in growth rates, and other environmental attributes, Kalibrate’s Data Scientists can produce a reliable traffic count for the current year – for the whole of USA and Canada.
Take a look at the unique data modelling process and speak to the TrafficMetrix® team today for reliable current year traffic counts.
