Understand ever-changing market conditions with mobility data: part three
In part one, we looked at the initial impact of the COVID-19 outbreak and the short-term impact on fuel and convenience retail in Georgia and South Carolina. Part two explored that same region in the two months following the outbreak.
This video explores how different markets around the world are dealing with the pandemic, what impact this is having on fuel and convenience retail, and how consumer movement patterns and purchasing decisions have changed. Mobility data also allows us to examine how different markets are responding to the enforcement, and then gradual relaxing, of movement restrictions.
Our case study focuses on the coastal region around Savannah and Charleston. What does the “new normal” look like? What emerging trends can we see? How can retailers adapt and survive?
Speak to Kalibrate about how we’re leveraging this type of data within our core planning solution.
