Meet the Kalibrate team: Jordan Roberts, Director of Data Partnerships
Jordan Roberts Meet the Team Q&A:
What does a typical working day look like for you?
It may sound a little cliché but one of the things I love the most is that I never have the same day twice. Typically, in my role I view myself as an advocate and as a collaborator and when I advocate I do so in three parts: for Kalibrate, for our clients and for our partners. When all three come together that is when we have success. I connect across the teams within the organization and with our partners to ensure that all needs are being met and that we are proactive and cohesively working together on behalf of our clients.
On any given day, I am connecting with partners, hosting webinars, presenting case studies and with the team making sure that presented challenges have the best proposed solutions to them.
What are the biggest challenges that customers are looking to solve with data?
One of the great things about Kalibrate is that we meet our clients where they are in their own journey. We listen to what their objectives are, and we provide actionable solutions. The clients that we work with have a wide variety of challenges that are presented to us range from site selection questions such as ‘Where should I build/remodel/relocate?’, to ‘Who is my actual customer and what is their profile?’. Additionally, we look at how we can present our consulting services, which are supported across multiple industries including but not limited to, retail, restaurant, and education.
Really, the possibilities are endless here at Kalibrate.
Why do you love working for Kalibrate?
The key element that makes Kalibrate so exciting is that we are an industry leader that is data agnostic, and we provide solutions on a global scale. We are truly not limited in our capacities, and we work with many partners globally to source the best solutions on behalf of our clients. We do the work ultimately, so that our client doesn’t have to.
When our clients come to us, we have avenues that we can take to best support them and our ecosystem (as I like to refer to it), is very strong. We work with a variety of POI providers and demographic providers, all on a global scale, so when a client comes to us, we have the knowledge base to seek out opportunities. In short, we are always up to doing something new: whether working with our existing partners or collaborating with new and exciting ones.
It’s an ever-evolving industry, and that’s why it’s so great to be here.
