Kalibrate appoints Charles Wetzel as Chief Executive Officer
Kalibrate is delighted to announce the appointment of Charles Wetzel to the position of Chief Executive Officer.
In position from January 2023, Wetzel will focus on customer experience and the continued integration of the Group’s location intelligence brands after the acquisition of Trade Area Systems and Intalytics, and investment in eSite Analytics.
Other priority areas include continued enhancements to Kalibrate’s fuel pricing and planning software, and the growth of location intelligence solutions outside of North America. This year will also see the next generation of the company’s GIS platform, Kalibrate Location Intelligence, after last year’s launch of Competitive Insights, a mobility-based analytics product.
Wetzel commented,
“It’s an exciting time to be taking the leadership role at Kalibrate. In the last few years, we’ve brought together market leading operators across location intelligence platforms, modelling, and analytics. Under the Kalibrate umbrella, the breadth of capabilities and depth of insight we can offer retailers can’t be matched elsewhere. Whether you’re a high growth brand opening new sites or an international concept optimizing a huge portfolio, we can meet you were you are on your journey.
“I want to thank Oliver Shaw, Kalibrate’s previous CEO, for leaving the company in such a strong position. Our fuel pricing and retail planning tools continue to thrive and with so many of our team having previously sat in the seats of our customers, Kalibrate is well-placed to continue to answer our clients’ most critical questions around where to locate, how to price, and how to promote their brand.”
Wetzel has previously held leadership roles at location intelligence provider Buxton and was President of eSite Analytics when it initially received investment from Kalibrate.
